Will the Level of Seismic Noise at Livingston Observatory Interfere with the Detection of Gravity Waves from Binary Inspirals?
GRASP MODIFICATIONS
How many chirp-like signals are in the environmental data?   This link describes a project to determine which environmental signals (channels) are most likely to interfere with detection of gravity waves from binary inspirals if the given channel was the major noise source.
The inspiral of two dense objects known as neutron stars, cousins to black holes, are one of the expected sources for gravitational waves.
